Dincolo de granite

A group of women from Armenia and Turkey have come together to collaborate on a cross-border peace-building initiative. This project will incorporate storytelling and performance as a method of conflict transformation across the closed Turkish-Armenian border. We believe that women should take peace into their own hands, and one way to begin is by sitting down with one another, across borders and across difference, to tell our stories.

We are currently raising funds to cover the costs of travel for 14 participants to Sirince, Turkey where we will hold workshops on conflict transformation and prepare for a final performance of the collected women's stories from both countries. But we can't do it without your support. You can contribute in either of two ways: by donating money and/or by donating some of your time. Most of our donations so far have come from people telling their friends, sending e-mails to their networks, sharing our facebook page and kickstarter campaign and through word of mouth.

We have raised 1,788 dollars so far, but we have another 4,712 dollars to go. We have one more month left to reach our final goal! And we need your support to get there.
